Projects
Portraits
Each of these portraits is a constructed image consisting of numerous photographic fragments shot somewhere between 30 to 180 minutes.
Deconstruction
Collapsed buildings, demolished stadiums and dismantled apartments are the center of this project. Archived information of the space is compressed into a single image, capturing various stages of deconstruction.
Monorail
Mathematical structures and architecture define the space we move and live in. Shot from the Monorail in Sydney, a train that endlessly loops through the city, these images portrait modern city life.
Elemental
My inspiration is an experience of my grandmother´s struggle with Alzheimers, which led to a collapse of space and time. Manipulating the border between fiction and reality, I create my own visual truth.
Interiors
Images of hindu/catholic houses demonstrate the peaceful coexistence of two cultures in Goa. Interiors serves as an archive of these symbols recalling ancient family structures.
Statement
My work deals with memory through a conceptual photographic process. Drawn from my interest in non-linear perception, my artistic approach is based on the deconstruction/reconstruction of space. Composed of different moments in time, I compress my archived photographic information into a single image.
